With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dolores Sandlin of Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on February 26, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Silva and Carlota Loya; her husband Thomas H. Sandlin; her great grandchild Jaxson De Leon; and her siblings, Amelia Salinas, Fred Silva, Juan Silva Jr., Adelina Colchado, Rosa Silva and Juan Silva.
She is survived by: her daughters, Norma Cruz (Oscar), Nora L. Cruz and Nelda J. Cruz; her grandchildren, Jay Davalos, Daniel Davalos, Andrea Cruz, Franki Cruz, Charli Cruz, Miranda Cruz, Gilbert De Leon Jr., Gabrielle Gonzalez and Thomas Cruz; and her sisters, Elida Gonzalez and Sylvia Olivarez.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Home (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Home (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). The inurnment was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Restlawn Memorial Park (14166 US-83 BUS, La Feria, TX 78559).
