She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Lamar Harper and Vera Harper; her adoptive father James Hancock (Catherine); her grandparents, Cecil Hancock and Florence Powell; her aunt Gladys Gardner (Ken); and her uncle Jerry Hancock (Astrid).
She is survived by: her children, Trina Barry of Champlin, MN, Stephen Garrison (Allison) of Midlothian, VA, Dr. Daniel Garrison (Silvia) of Burlington, IA, Tiffany Tucker of Stansbury Park, UT and Tara Garrison of Hilo, HI; her siblings, Stuart Hancock (Karen), Suzette Peterson, Ed Hancock, Nancy Siegel, John Hancock, JoAnne Phillips and Froy Hancock; and her aunt Sue Norovich. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or the Children's Music Fund.
