It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dario Raul Quintana of Harlingen, Texas, born in Laredo, Texas, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his children, Loretta Quintana and Eduardo R. Quintana; his parents, Isabel and Pablo Quintana; and his siblings, Ramiro Quintana (Consuelo), Ricardo Quintana (Irma), Luis Quintana (Beatrice), Arturo Quintana (Dora), Alicia Flores (Jose), Rebecca Sanchez (Arnulfo) and Enriqueta Ortiz (Dario).
He is survived by: his wife Berta T. Quintana; his daughter Edna Q. Claus (Edgar); his grandchildren, Jordan C. Claus (Kristina), Tirzah L. Claus and Lia T. Claus; and his great grandchild Chloe M. Claus. He is also survived by his many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Harlingen (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A prayer was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery (21037 Godwin Rd, Harlingen, TX 78550).
