He is survived by: his wife Gloria Navarrete; his daughters, Yvette Navarrete Pingel (Matthew) and Annette Navarrete Figueroa (Luis) of Houston, TX.; his siblings, Gladys Lara (Jose), Enrique Navarrete and Eddie Navarrete; and his grandchildren, Peter Mariscal III (Bethany), Anthony Daniel Mariscal, Megan Pingel Gonzales (Paul) and Jonathan Jacob Mariscal (Leslie).
