She was predeceased by: her husband Guadalupe Sanchez; her son Jorge Luis Sanchez; her siblings, Juan Plata, Patricia Cordova, Pablo Plata and Josefina Rangel; and her aunt Eduvijez Olivarez.
She is survived by: her children, Blanca Garza (Pedro), Alma Delia Sanchez (Luis), Maria Nellie Guzman, Consuelo Alicia Torres, Jose Odilon Sanchez and Guadalupe Sanchez, Jr. (Carol); and her sister Elena Sanchez. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
