It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Constancia Canales (Harlingen, Texas), who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Trevino and Carmen Elizondo Trevino; her husband Manuel Canales Sr.; her daughter Maria Canales; her daughter-in-law Mary Ann Canales; and her grandsons, Darrell A. Canales and Guadalupe Flores Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Luis Canales, Rodolfo Canales, Rosalinda Flores (Guadalupe), Manuel Canales Jr. (Aurelia), Abel Canales, Roberto Canales (Jeremy Chesman) and Elva Ann Nachie Herrera (Polleecarpio); her grandchildren, Luis Antonio Canales (Priscilla), Laura Ann Rhinehart (Larry), Alejandro Canales, Rodolfo M. Canales, Joseph Christopher Flores, Manuel A. Canales, Priscilla E. Canales, Sandra M. Canales, Thomas R. Canales, Nicholas E. Canales, Cassimiro Nachie Herrera (Sonja) and Ishna E. Nachie; and her close friend Esther Garcia.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Las Rusias Cemetery (Rangerville Rd, San Benito, TX 78586).
