We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2022, at the age of 87, Cleofas Perkins of Harlingen, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Louis Perkins and Adela Garza Perkins; his daughter Shirley Perkins; his siblings, James C. Perkins "Jimmy", Mary Ann P. Cantu "Anita", Edward Olivarez "Lalo" and Lupe Olivarez; and his godson Flumencio Hernandez "Flu".

He is survived by: his wife Dora Rangel Perkins; his children, Rolando Perkins, Carol P. Whitmire (Lee), Phoebe R. Perkins and Ruby R. Perkins (Guadalupe Saldivar); his sister Emilly Calderas (Julian); his grandchildren, Jon A. Perkins Sr., Erica Perkins, Brandon Perkins, Isaiah M. P. Mata, Brianna C. Perkins, Hana S. P. Najera, Cesar P. Garcia, Cort G. P. Whitmire, Megan R. Whitmire, Aerin P. Saldivar and Lexi P. Saldivar; and his great grandchildren, Jon A. Perkins Jr., Alicia Padron, Marco P. Ayala and Zarco P. Ayala. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
