He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Haynes and Elsie Haynes; and his siblings, Arthur, Jerry, Charles Haynes and Anna Lee Hailey.

He is survived by: his children, John and Jamie Hodes; his wife Olga Haynes; and his children, Claudette Clendennen, Jason Haynes (Geraldine), Chrystal Riccio (Domenick), David Haynes, Cindy Ramirez (Rick) and Jesus Montemayor (Venesa). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
