It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlota Gallegos of Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on December 17, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa Moreno and Donaciano De La Cruz; her siblings, Donaciano De La Cruz, Julieta De La Cruz and Juvencio De La Cruz; her husband Juan Gallegos; and her son Telesforo Gallegos.
She is survived by: her son Carlos Gallegos (Juanita Lopez) of McAllen; and her grandchildren, Elsa Yvette Ponce (Raymond) of Harlingen, Juan Fernando Gallegos of Houston and Carlos Gallegos Jr. (Madalyne) of Harlingen. She is also survived by 16 Great-grandchildren.
