She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Saxon Pressly and Maude Pressly (McHenry); her spouse Edgar Maclay Swarner (Ned); her children, Susan Langston (Denny) and Edgar Swarner, Jr.; her granddaughters, Kelsey Jo Langston and Courtney Langston; her niece Marilyn Taylor; her nephews, David Pressly and John Pressly; and her close friend Mildred Twenhafel.
