He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcelino Gamez and Filomena Herrera Gamez. He is survived by: his wife Maria Alicia Gamez; his children, Jose Armando "Mando" Gamez, Benito Gamez Jr., Marcelo Gamez, Fernando Ivan Gamez and Rolando Gamez (Carolina Barrientos); his grandchildren, Joseph Rene Gamez, Niki Brianne Gamez, Jose Asael Gamez, Jazmine Salazar, Amanda Salazar, Alyna Channel Gamez, Heaven Leann Gamez, Sariah Lynn Gamez, Marcelo Gamez Jr., Magdalena Guadalupe Gamez, Mesha Guadalupe Gamez and Lucy Camila Gamez; and his siblings, Ignacio Gamez (Ofelia), Nicholas Gamez and Alicia "Licha" Gamez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
