He was predeceased by: his wife Emma D. Ruelas; and his children, Norma Alicia Sauceda and Guillermo Ruelas. He is survived by: his daughters, Noemi Rivera (Guadalupe) and Blanca Estela Ruelas. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.
