With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Antonia Castillo Vargas of Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on July 11, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Hector Vargas; and her daughter Amelia Carrington. She is survived by: her children, Patricio Vargas (Robin) of Universal City, Mary Lou Ramirez of North Texas and Hector Vargas, Jr. of Harlingen. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.
