She was predeceased by: her parents, Urbano Cavazos and Dolores Cavazos; her husband Rufino Martinez; her brothers, Urbano Cavazos, Jr. and Ezequiel "Zeke" Cavazos; and her grandson Charlie Nicholas Moody.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christy Cameron, Ari Moody (James) and Annie Esquivel (Ben); her stepchildren, Albert Martinez, Monica Salazar (Jerry) and Veronica Martinez (Joe); and her sisters, Doris Solis, Margaret Gonzalez and Luisa Alaniz. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
