She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucio Serrato and Maria Marcos Rojero; her husband Jose Candelario Zavala; and her brother Magdaleno Serrato, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Magdaleno Zavala (Nora) of Bastrop and Jose Zavala of Mexico; her grandchildren, Jose Francisco Zavala, Ana Lilia Zavala, Rosario Zavala, Anita Zavala and Juana Isabela Torres; and her sister Agustina Garcia. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
