We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2020, at the age of 73, Amelia Lopez of Harlingen, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guadalupe Vasquez and Dolores Castillo; and her brothers, Santos Vasquez, Raul Vasquez and Juvencio Vasquez.
She is survived by: her children, Jaime Lopez (Jessica), David Lopez (Sarena) and Grace Ybarra (Alberto); and her siblings, Linda Shumate, Jesse Vasquez and Ricardo Vasquez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 1313 W. Buchanan Street Harlingen, TX 78550 or a charity of your choice.
