He is survived by: his children, David Vasquez, Yadira Rubio, Jobina Rubio and Julie Galarza; and his siblings, Irma Cantu, Josefa Contreras (Juan), Yolanda Casares (Alex), Abelina Garcia, Rosalinda Rodriguez, Nilda Prado (Tony), Alejandro Rubio, Octavio Rubio, Raul "Vee" Rubio (Gloria), Ralph Rubio (Rosa), Robert Rubio, Ricardo Rubio (Alicia) and Rodolfo Rubio (Veronica). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
