She was predeceased by: her husband Timoteo Bernal; and her son Raul Bernal. She is survived by: her children, Francisca Eufrancio, Ruben Bernal, Hugo Bernal (Stephanie), Helen Maria Cruz (Roberto), Gloria Williams, Mary Flores (Alvaro) and Esmeralda Bernal; and her sister Juanita Ruiz. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Harlingen (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM and at 1:00 PM. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at the Heavenly Grace Cemetery.
