He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Briones and Concepcion Briones. He is survived by: his siblings, Carmela Cuevas (Jose) of Reynosa, Genaro Briones (Ester) of Houston, Cruz Briones of Alamo, Hermila Briones of Alamo, Francisco Briones (Josephina) of Alamo, Maria Elena Cantu (Roel) of Mission and Guadalupe Garcia (Cesar) of McAllen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
