He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman Odell Jones and Thekla Riley Jones; his son James Pierce; and his siblings, Mildred Jones, Herman Dwight Jones and Anna Mae Briggs.
He is survived by : his wife Delma Jones; his daughter Anita Handley; his sister Carolyn Wooten (Robert); and his pet J. J.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
