She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sides Sr. and Aline Jackson Sides; her husband Thomas Andrew Blackman; and her son Ernest Blackman. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Clark (Greg Locke); her brother Joe Sides Jr. (Bobbie); her grandchildren, Ivaline Clark, Maddison Harke, Erica Clark, Logan Toal and Emma Clark; and her great grandchild Presley Toal.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the American Heart Association or to the Diabetes Foundation.
