She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Floyd Diamond and Lila Faye Burcham Diamond; and her siblings, Debra Kay Diamond, Margaret Ann Horton, Danny Ray Diamond and Arthur Elwood Diamond.
She is survived by: her husband John Edwards; her sister Anita Shupe of Burlington, NC; her sisters-in-law, Brenda Diamond of Galax, VA and Linda Cooley (Richard) of Galax, VA; her daughters, Jody (Jon Prevette), Heather (Tim Trivitt) and Ann (Dustin Maltsberger); her grandchildren, Megan Doyle, Brett Holstein (Nikki), Thomas Lantz Jr., Amaya Benekin-Mills, Mason Mills and Noah Trivitt; and her great grandchildren, Chandler Anderson and Arthur Holstein. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
