We bid farewell to Lane Russel Ramsdell of Harker Heights, Texas, born in Santa Barbara, California, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 5, 2025 at the age of 81. Lane Russel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Kay Miller; his parents, George Ramsdell and Barbara Ramsdell; his siblings, Albert Ramsdell and Peggy Pruett; his nephew Benjamin Ramsdell; and his niece Barbara Isaacs.
He is survived by: his son Patrick Ramsdell (Shannon); his stepchildren, Ricky Hill (Jacqie), Randy Hill (Donna) and Kelly Ruch (Billy); and his nieces, Cathy Ruesch (Steve), Cari Zocco (Tom), Lisa Fierro (Larry) and Lisa Patterson (John).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
In lieu of flowers, Lane requested that any donations be made to the Heart of Texas Lab Rescue.
