She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Pete Gonzales and SanJuana Contino; her husband Jose Maldonado; and her siblings, Mandy Thompson, Pete Gonzales III, Juan Gonzales, Danny Gonzales, Maria Lunt, Adam Gonzales and Steven Gonzales. She was also cherished by her husband, parents and siblings.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1410 S 2nd St, Killeen, TX 76541). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
