We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2024, at the age of 68, Carolyn Fay Hampton of Harker Heights, Texas, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Willie Berlin Weams; her husband Wilbert Lloyd Hampton; her mother-in-law Wilma Hampton; her siblings, Willie John, Beverly Richardson and Claudine Weams; her brothers-in-law, Roosevelt Hampton, Lee Hampton, Henry Hampton and Arthur Britton; and her nephew Troy Weams.
She is survived by: her mother Ollie Bell Weams of Prairieville Louisiana; her daughter Adrienne Denise Jackson; her son-in-law Leslie Renaud Jackson; her granddaughter Keyona Rose Weams of Harker Heights; her great grandchild Kazziah Adriy'yel Douglas of Harker Heights; her sister Barbera Weams of Prairieville; and her siblings-in-law, Sandra Weams of Houston Texas, Irene Scott, Piccola Thomas, Marguritte Hampton, Gladys Hampton, Lucille Britton and Oscar Hampton of Baton Rouge.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lawson & Rollins Purple Shield Funeral Home (511 Tobey Rd, Gonzales, LA 70737). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
