She was predeceased by: her parents, West Preston and Ola Mae Preston (Stum); and her husband James William "Bill" Ritter. She is survived by: her children, Jim Ritter (Christine) of Arlington and Jill Ritter-Blanco of Harker Heights; her grandchildren, Taylor Blanco of McKinney, Andrew Ritter of Leander and Benjamin Ritter (Juliana) of Rowlett; her great grandchildren, Audrey and Emery Ritter; her brother David Preston (Kristie); and her pet Emma.
