It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Georgette Lara of Harker Heights, Texas, born in Ponca City, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow King and Pauline King; and her granddaughter Sandra Martinez. She is survived by: her children, Pauline Cruz of Harker Heights, Rhonda Lara of Harker Heights, Rufina Lara of Harker Heights, Georgia Diaz of Belton, Jake Daniel Lara Jr. (Sierra King) of Clanton, AL., Keno Thomsen of Dill City, OK. and Dave Suratt of Pawnee, OK.. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
