She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louis Vela and Juanita Osuna Vela; her husband Leroy Burton Hughes; her sons, Mike Hughes (Cindy) and Larry Hughes (Yvette); her siblings, Ray Vela, Rudy Vela (Linda), Gilbert Vela (Edith), Louis Vela (Mary), Gene Vela (Mary), Ismo Vela and Angie Fuentes; her grandsons, Josh Hughes (Becca), Matt Hughes (Ashley) and Lucas Hughes (Kaila); her great grandchildren, Mason, Cannon, Madilynn and Abbott; and her godchildren, Terry Mamerow and Victoria Rico. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
