It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Verret Cheramie (Hardin, Texas), born in Morgan City, Louisiana, who passed away on December 26, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Verret Sr. and Mary Gautreaux; her husband Edwin Paul Cheramie; her son Clyde Jason Cheramie; her siblings, James Willard Verret, Henry Verret Jr. and Veda Leonard; her children, Jasper "Boe" Cheramie (Nonie) of Larose Louisiana and Edwina Koen (Mike) of Hardin; and her brother Roland Verret (Cleo) of Berwick Louisiana. She was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
