He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Rice and Anna Mae Rice; his siblings, Louise Taylor, Euthel, Troy, Gerald and Douglas; his son Robert David Rice; and his great grandchild Aurora Grace Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Cantrell; and his children, Billy Glynn Rice (Bobbie) of Kountze, Debra Charlene Rice of Longview and Linda Kay McCoy (David) of Kaufman. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
