He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Putnam; his parents, Roach Putnam and Pearl Putnam; and his brothers, Richard, Ivan and Tommy Putnam.
He is survived by: his sister Noreen Bales of Carrollton; his children, Judy Smith (Karl) of Amarillo, Douglas Putnam (Pam) of Plainview and Tamera Kingham (Danny) of Weston, Colorado.; and his grandsons, Brandon Smith (Kelly), Heath Kingham (Tayler), Quentin Kingham (Kim), Matthew Putnam and Joshua Putnam. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
