He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Patriel; his parent-in-law Robin Taylor; and his siblings, Cleila Coker, Fay Brunson, Irene Hopper, Wanda McWilliams, Johnny Parker, Jo Bryans, Ruth Barrett, James Parker and Gene Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his daughter Donae Smith (Scott); and his grandchildren, Ashleigh Smith and Ryan Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
