He was predeceased by: his father Crisanto Villanueva; his wife Josefa Villanueva; his son Ricky Villanueva; his grandson Ricky Lee Villanueva; and his brother Alfredo Gonzalez.
He is survived by: his daughter Maria Rodriguez (Samuel); his grandchildren, Sammy Rodriguez (Nikki), Isaac Turner (Sandra), Simon Rodriguez, Jessica Villanueva and Jason Villanueva (Kara); and his siblings, Rebecca Chavez, Esmeralda Rivera (Raul) and Eddie Rivera. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and step grandchildren.
