Charlene Joiner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2024, at the age of 97, Charlene Joiner of Hamlin, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Willis and Fannie Mae Durham (Allen); her spouse L. A. Joiner (Buck); and her siblings, Louise Wells, Barbara Holloway and John Thomas Durham.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Joiner (Shelia), Jerry Joiner and Susan Payton (Woody); her sisters, Janet Armstrong and Jerita Rogers; and her grandsons, Nick Joiner (Brandy), Nathan Payton (Jaclynn) and Jacob Payton (Kelsey). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home (505 NW 5th St, Hamlin, TX 79520). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
