He was predeceased by: his son Billy Ray Newton; his parents, Janet Reutebuch and Allen Newton; his stepfathers, John Reutebuch and John McKinzie; and his grandmother Beulah Collins.
He is survived by: his son Thomas Newton; his grandson Travis Newton of Spicewood; and his siblings, Jerry, Cindy McKinzie of Canyon Lake, Debbie Jahns, Nancy Young of Austin and Jeanne Starr of Hamilton. He is also survived by husbands, wives, children, and grandchildren.
