She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Hunter and Laura Hunter (Arthur); her daughter Kathy Prewitt; and her siblings, Sonny Hunter, Lawrence E. Hunter and Doris Ann Tillerson.
She is survived by: her children, James Prewitt (Shelly), Johnny Lee Prewitt, Rose Villarreal, Larry Rambo and Margaret Prewitt; her grandchildren, Kenneth Prewitt, Cameron Prewitt, Jessica Marie Lane and Melissa Prewitt Jones; her great grandchildren, John Henry Lane, John Curtis Lane, Savanna Rain Lane, Donald Keith Van III and Shawn Jones; and her siblings, Laverne Martinez and Ronnie Hunter. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
