He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Wood and Frances Wood. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his grandchildren, Arlie of Charleston, Heidi of Charleston, Denver of Charleston, Dan of Charleston and Whitney of Charleston; his siblings, Chris Wood of San Antonio and Pam; and his brother-in-law Rusty White of Waco. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in memory of Barry Ray Wood to the non-profit organization Alzheimer's Alliance to help in finding a cure for Alzheimer's.
