She was predeceased by: her parents, William Moten and Elsie Moten; her former husband A. L. "Totsie" Thomas; and her siblings, Elsie Nadine McDaniels, Willda Lou Lukenbill and Ralph Hugh Moten.

She is survived by: her husband Leslie'Totsie'Thomas; her children, Glee, Jana Thomas and Jeff Thomas (Suzette); her grandchildren, Julianne Dawn McGee and Jeremy Paul McGee; and her great grandchild Bella Elizabeth Grace McGee.
