It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Whitten (Haltom City, Texas), born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on August 6, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, L. K. Whitten and Dorothy Whitten; his brother Gary Whitten; his siblings-in-law, Eddie Crittenden, Doyle Pitts Jr., Andy Pitts, Donald Pitts, Wesley Pitts, Clarine Pitts, Jean Pitts and Judy Pitts; his nieces, Mary Pitts Kamp and Donna Pitts; and his nephew Tony Pitts.
He is survived by: his wife Belinda; his children, Brandon Whitten (Brandy), Adam Whitten and Ashlee Watkins (Casey); his grandchildren, Seth, Madee, Kelsea, Nate, Haylee and Dawson; his sister Judy Crittenden; and his sisters-in-law, Sheri Whitten, Teresa Vaida (Al), Kathy Pitts, Renee Pitts and Jan Barron. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Alan asked that donations be made to the Northeast Baptist Church Missions Fund.
