She was predeceased by: her parents, Kirklus McGowan and Ruth Peterson; her stepfather Sparky Peterson; the father of her children Paul Dyess; her siblings, Patsy, Bettye, Leora and Charles (Billye Jo); her niece Theresa; her granddaughter Katy Elizabeth Maldonado; and her stepson Randy Young.
She is survived by: her former husband Paul Dyess; her husband Charles Young; her brother Jerry (June); her children, Paula Bessonett, Wayne, Patti Dyess, Jerry and Pam Dyess; her stepdaughter Darlene Taylor; her stepgrandchild Ryan; her stepchildren, Darrin, Brandi Young and Joe Young; her children, Claire, Violet, Lisa and Mandi Maldonado; her grandchildren, Mikah and Georgia; her son David Maldonado; her grandchildren, Luna and Sunny; her children, Nicholas Land, Rhiannon, Chelsea, Gavin, Amanda and Richard Barrientos; her grandchildren, Lillian, Cristian, Layla and Ivan; her nieces and nephews, Talon, Jacob and Cale; her extended family, Debbie and Ed Barrow; her daughter Misty; her grandchildren, Jan and Dave Stewart-Salmons; her great grandchildren, Cory and Ryan; and her grandson Cayden.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (2400 S Donnybrook Ave, Tyler, TX 75701). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
