It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Alvin Hooper of Hallsville, Texas, who passed away on September 12, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Hooper and Marion Hooper; his grandfather John L.; and his aunt Vauline Fisher of Dallas, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Christine Hooper; his sons, Patrick Hooper (April) and Ronald Hooper; his grandchildren, Hannah, Hayley, Jayla, Avery and Cash; and his cousins, Bobbye Sanders (Willie), Shirley Fisher, Joyce Fisher, Royce Fisher and Karen Fisher. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
