She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby George of Washington and Nellie Mae of Washington; and her brother Willie of Washington. She is survived by: her husband Jerome Sumner; her sons, Kelvin Earl Sr. of Washington and Timothy Lorrell [Maria] Robinson Sr.; her grandchildren, Zekyia Inese Robinson, Timothy Lorrell Robinson Jr., James Noah Robinson, Kelvin Earl Jr. of Washington, Kelton DeWayne of Washington and Demi Kaleiya of Washington; her brothers, Bobby [Sally] Jr. of Washington, Ruben of Washington, Pastor Larry [Shelica] of Washington and Darrell of Washington; and her close friends, Billie Brown (Nudda) and Tracy Smith (Ladybug). She is also survived by other family members and friends.
