It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Rachal (Hallsville, Texas), born in Melrose, Louisiana, who passed away on April 13, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. B. Balthazar and Cecilia Balthazar; her son Ronald Rachal; and her brothers, Cleo and James Balthazar.
She is survived by: her husband Edgar Rachal of Derry, LA; her children, Carolyn Denise Rachal Mazzola (Craig) of Fort Myers, FL, Wanda Rachal Brumble (Kip) of Hallsville, TX, Rhonda DiTuri of Bloomingdale, IL, Billie Jo Rachal of Bloomingdale, IL and Eric Balthazar (Cheryl) of Bloomingdale, IL; her grandchildren, Kyle Rachal, Ragen Monette, Morgan Thomas, Tyler Thomas, Paige Thomas, Erica Balthazar, Elisa Balthazar, Payton Thomas, Joshua Iannotti, Joey DiTuri, Mia DiTuri, Ethan Balthazar, Gianna Mazzola, Teddy Cappiello and Lenore Cappiello; and her siblings, Andrew Balthazar (Patricia), Dorothy Balthazar (Patrick), Fred Balthazar (Maggie), Bernard Balthazar (Angela), Lireda Balthazar, Leslie Balthazar (Cindy), Marie Jones (Pete), Josephine Roque (Clyde), Donald Balthazar (Melissa) and Catherine Rachal (Henry). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
