He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Haden Sr. and Cora Lee Briggs; his siblings, James, Richard and Betty Pauline; and his grandson James Conner Riley Hopkins.
He is survived by: his child Carmen; his grandson Johnathan Blake; his stepson Paul Chipman (Tammy); his sister Pat Reed; his grandchildren, Angel Wooten (Adam), Chelsea Lowe (Brandon), Ariel Chipman, Alyssa Chipman (Paul) and Cale Chipman; and his great grandchildren, Ellayna, Konner, Eryn, Luca, Tita, Sadie, Sterling and Rowen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
