With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julius V. Janca of Hallettsville, Texas, who passed away on June 18, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Janca and Pauline Janca Sr. (Mozisek); his wife Geraldine Mertz; his daughter Kathy Holt; his children-in-law, Cassie Janca and Hall Scull; and his siblings, Leon Joe Jr., Jerome, James Janca and Evelyn Hruzek.

He is survived by: his children, Glenn Janca (Mary Ann), Paul Janca (Kim Earwood), Barbara Scull, Joyce Jackson (Ronnie), Marsha McNeal (Russell) and Michelle Janca; his son-in-law Dwayne Holt; and his sister Margaret Henneke. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
