It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Butschek of Hallettsville, Texas, who passed away on March 2, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Butschek and Susan Kubena Butschek; his sister Eleanor Wagner (Tiny) of Moulton; his parents-in-law, Diane Rehmke (Fred Rehmke), Joan Davis (Keith Davis), Martha Sailers-Butschek, Michael Butschek, Ginny Butschek, Kenneth Butschek, Theresa Butschek, Rosemary Vorpahl, Doug Vorpahl, David Butschek, Richard Butschek, Christine Nelson-Butschek and Kevin Butschek; his wife Mary Lou Butschek; his son Anthony Butschek; and his daughter-in-law Shelle Butschek. He was also cherished by 15 great-grandchildren, 23 grandchildren and their spouses; and 15 great-grandchildren.
