He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth James McCord and Nellia Rae Byars McCord; and his sister Georgie Virginia McCord. He is survived by: his wife Henri Mae Jones McCord; his son Kyle McCord of Lavaca County; and his siblings, Michael Ray McCord of Houston, Patricia Bennetsen of San Antonio, Yvette Holbert of Austin, Celine McCord of Austin and Frances McCord of Uvalde.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Kubena Funeral Home (507 N Main St, Hallettsville, TX 77964). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Hallettsville Hallettsville, Texas (206 S Dowling St, Hallettsville, TX 77964).
