It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Marie Bohuslav of Hallettsville, Texas, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emilie Halata (Janek) and Charles Ben Halata; her husband Arnold Frank Bohuslav; and her granddaughter Annye Mae Bohuslav. She is survived by: her children, Gary Bohuslav (Jacki) of Sherman, TX, Rene Matula (Mark) of Mansfield, TX, Beverly Jansky (Patrick), Jackie Bludau (Billy) of Hallettsville, TX and Pamela Muenster (Darren) of Liberty Hill, TX; her grandchildren, Garrett Bohuslav (Monica), Jami Blackburn (Brantley), Heather Stone (Shane), Lydia Walker (Lance), Hannah Matula, Erin Rygg (Matt), Emilie Walker (Layne), Alex Bludau (Mikayla), Robbie Strmiska (Hayden) and Logan Muenster; and her great grandchildren, Cru, Lawsyn Walker, Barrett Blackburn, Ella Stone and Jax Walker.
