He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred J. Chovanetz and Anna Belle Buehrig Chovanetz; his brother Mike Chovanetz; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Chovanetz. He is survived by: his wife LaVerne Muehr; his son Christopher Chovanetz (Michele); his grandchildren, Kayleigh and Kyler Chovanetz; his siblings, James Chovanetz (Rida), Charles Chovanetz (Julie) and Natalie Brandt (Jimmy); and his sister-in-law Mary Sparks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
