We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2021, at the age of 90, Doris Dolezal Barnes of Hallettsville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dolezal and Corrine Anderson Dolezal; her husband Leon Barnes; and her brothers, Alton, Victor and Milton Dolezal.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Wright, DeDe Welder (John), Leon "Bubba" Barnes (Sheryl) and Claude Barnes (Monica); her siblings, Frances Ringo (Alvin) and Glen Dolezal; and her grandchildren, Ryan Barnes (Susan), Rachel Muza (Robert), Danielle Wright, Amber Zidek (Blake), Pamela Barnes, Ashley Aimone (John), Robin Threadgill (Brady), Jared Barnes (Lauren), Justin Barnes (Lindsey), John Welder VI and Eliza Welder. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
